Our Methodology

A Mosaica profile is written by named researchers, reviewed by subject-matter experts, and reviewed again with members of the community it describes. Each profile cites the sources it rests on so that any statement can be traced back.

Mosaica's 90+ dimensions comprise 76 cultural profiles, eight religious traditions, and healthcare and diversity profiles. Each dimension is a distinct reviewed body of research rather than a tag or category applied to shared content.

Mosaica findings never assert that a group believes a particular thing. Every finding states its reasoning, the research behind it, and its source, and carries a confidence rating. Where evidence is thin, the finding records that rather than generalising.

Mosaica profiles are maintained through an editorial governance process involving the original researchers and community collaborators. Corrections and updates run through the same review path as the original entry.
